For me, it's TV content ratings, a concept that's interested me back when TV Guides were big enough to fit in your coat pocket, which was long before I knew what a fetish was. That's what they want to be known for, what they whack off to. They could have picked anything else, a character or show they like, etc. but nope. When it becomes that pervasive, you have to wonder if these people have any other aspects to their personality or identity besides that. Any time someone makes a certain interest or hobby their fucking "lifestyle," you know something is off there, when someone is so one-dimensional like that. Here's a discussion that gives an example of what I'm talking about. When people will never shut up about a certain subject and will find any way they can to bring it into a conversation, even when it's completely unrelated, that's not only annoying, but troubling, for that person.
